Bear Beats: Episode 14, For Competition Through Nov. 23

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Bear Beats is a weekly release that will be posted on Mondays to provide a look back at the past week of action and to preview the events for the upcoming week. The 14th episode for the 2025-26 year will feature men's and women's soccer, volleyball, football, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's swimming, and men's and women's basketball

No. 5 Men's Basketball
  • WashU has a trio of home contests this week, beginning with a home contest against Monday, Nov. 24 against Wabash.
  • The contest against the Little Giants is scheduled for a 5 p.m. tip-off.

  • This weekend, the Bears will host the All-Academic Classic on Saturday, Nov. 29 and Sunday Nov. 30.
  • Chicago will play against Rhodes on Saturday at 1 p.m.
  • WashU will take on Colorado College following the previous contest on Saturday at 3 p.m.

  • In a pre-determined matchup, Colorado College and Chicago will play on Sunday at 1 p.m.

RV Women's Basketball
  • WashU makes a quick return from Thanksgiving when they travel to Bloomington, Ill. for the 2025 Midwest Challenge hosted by Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday, Nov. 29 and Sunday, Nov. 30.
  • The Bears will kick the weekend off with a contest against DePauw on Saturday at 2 p.m.

  • The other first round game features the host Titans against UW-La Crosse on Saturday at 4 p.m.
  • The consolation game will be played on Sunday at 2 p.m.
  • The championship game will be played after on Sunday at 4 p.m.
