No. 12 WashU Women's Swimming and Diving Finishes Second at Phoenix Fall Classic

CHICAGO, Ill. – The No. 12 Washington University in St. Louis women's swimming and diving team finished second with 1,940.5 points at the Phoenix Fall Classic, hosted by the University of Chicago. The three-day tournament was held at the Myers-McLoraine Pool.

  • 100 Butterfly
    • Watson claimed sixth with a time of 56.36
       
  • 200 Freestyle
    • Sophomore Iris Qi finished fourth with an NCAA B cut time of 1:51.01
    • First-year Sarah Cohen took seventh in 1:52.25
       
  • 100 Breaststroke
    • Lee finished second, hitting an NCAA B cut time of 1:02.99
    • First-year Eliana King took sixth in 1:04.89
       
  • 100 Backstroke
    • Chen finished seventh in 56.93
    • Leng won the B final with a time of 58.11
       
  • 800 Freestyle Relay
    • Bello, Qi, Cohen and Roche hit an NCAA B cut time of 7:29.83 and finished second
    • Sophomore Anisa Basler, Alisbah, junior Holly Gmelich and first-year Abby Wright took seventh in 7:50.00

  • 200 Backstroke
    • Roche claimed fourth with a time of 2:03.72

    • Watson finished 10th in 52.47
