ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has release the names of those earning All-Region honors this afternoon and four members of the No. 18 Washington University in St. Louis men's cross country team have been selected.
Senior
Conor Daly, sophomore
Sean Green, sophomore
Ben Lorenz, and first-year
Max Sudrzynski have all earned USTFCCCA All-Midwest Region honors for finishing in the top-35 at the Midwest Regional meet this past Saturday.Â
Daly was the top WashU finisher, placing 19th with a season-best time of 24:56.5 for the 8K course. Sudrzynski finished less than a second behind him in 21st place with a time of 24:57.4.
Green came in next for the Bears, finishing 25th with a time of 25:11.3. Lorenze was fourth on the team in 33rd place (25:28.9).
The quartet helped the Bears to a fifth-place team finish and earn an at-large spot as a team for the 2025 NCAA Championships this Saturday, Nov. 22 in Spartanburg, S.C.
