Washington University in St. Louis (WashU) Club Sport Program found a wide range of success in a variety of post season tournaments this school year. From National Championships to team records broken, let's take a look at some of that success!
Women's Squash
National Championship in the Women's A Division. Wins in the tournament came against teams from UCLA, Northeastern, and Boston College. The finish is the best in the club's history.
Men's Volleyball
Finished 9th at the National Tournament, competing against other schools with fewer than 15,000 students. The club has finished top ten in every National Tournament since 2019.
Tengis Kelley and Morgan Mednick won D1 All-Conference 1st and 2nd team respectively in the conference last month. Noah Stovitz and Mednick won NCVF D2 All-American Honorable Mentions, the highest award possible for a 9th place finish. Cedric Leong, Ben Cugno, Amiel Sibol, and Kelley also received votes.
Women's Volleyball
Finished 9th in the nation in the DII division in the National Tournament.
Women's Lacrosse
Placed 4th in the Championship Tournament hosted by the University of Missouri.
Women's Ultimate
Went 3-1 in the Sectional Tournament in Springfield, MO with two wins over SLU and one Missouri. The club then traveled to Colorado Springs for their Regional Tournament, winning 2 games and finishing second overall. This was the first time in 14 years that the club finished this high in their Region.
Men's Ultimate
Sectional Champions at the Sectional Tournament in Springfield, MO, going 6-0 on the weekend. The six wins came against Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Contraband (WashU's B Team), Missouri, and Kansas.
At the Regional Tournament in Colorado Springs, the Club finished 5th with wins against Texas State and Colorado.
Gymnastics
The Gymnastics Club saw its best Nationals performance this year, seeing separate teams qualify for finals: Women's MAG Intermediate, Men's MAG Intermediate, and Men's WAG Platinum. Women's MAG Intermediate won first place, Men's MAG Intermediate won third place, and Men's WAG Platinum won second place. The club also won first placed for Mixed (both women and men) MAG Intermediate team.

Noah Benschine: 1st on Vault in WAG Platinum
Finn McNamee: 2nd on Rings in MAG Intermediate
Arie Cohen: 3rd on Rings in MAG Intermediate, 2nd Decathlon Int/XP
Caitlyn Garofoli: 1st AA, 2nd Floor, 2nd Pommel Horse, 1st Vault in MAG Intermediate. 2nd Decathlon Int/L9
Ruth Mellin: 2nd AA, 2nd Vault, 2nd Parallel Bars, 1st High Bar in MAG Intermediate. 1st Decathlon Int/L9
Juliet Whitehead: 2nd AA, 1st Rings in MAG Intermediate. Judges Award
Izzy Field: 2nd Rings in MAG Intermediate
Abigail Schulkind: Judges Award
Izzy Smith: Judges Award

Men's Ice Hockey
The club finished the regular season with an impressive record of 19-6-1, qualifying to MACHA Playoffs.
Tennis
After a 5th straight Sectional Championship, Club Tennis went 2-1 in the Copper Bracket at Nationals after 1-2 in Pool Play.
Swim
Club Swim saw an astounding 13 team records broken this year. The club sent 13 swimmers to Nationals in Greensboro, North Carolina. With 10 top 24 finishes in the tournament, the club finished in 32nd place overall.
Table Tennis
Finished 22nd in the nation @ NCTTA Nationals
Women's Soccer (Fall Semester)
Earned the automatic bid to compete in the Championship Division at the NIRSA National Tournament in Kansas City, Missouri.
