The WashU Club Tennis team is a co-ed team consisting of about 50 members that provides the opportunity to play tennis both competitively and recreationally. We hold practices year-round three times per week and compete in tournaments across the Midwest and Missouri Valley as well as nationally. While we do have tryouts for the team and also compete against other universities, we strive to make the team atmosphere as positive, enjoyable, and stress-free as possible so that our members can continue to enjoy the sport at a non-varsity level. We also host grand slam viewing parties, club social events (haunted house, picnic, ice skating, etc.), and mixers with other social groups/clubs.Â
Notable accolades include: 7th Place at 2019 National Championship, 1st Place at 2022 Missouri Valley Sectional Championship.Â
