Scoreboard

W. Lax Club WebsiteWashU Women's Club Lacrosse, or WULAX, is a close-knit team of girls who love to have fun on and off of the lacrosse field. We welcome players of any skill and experience level, whether they be former club athletes or players that have never picked up a stick before and are looking to try something new. While we do not make cuts, we encourage consistent practice and game attendance and commitment to the team.

We usually practice twice a week on the South Campus fields, which are a quick jog (or drive) away from the South 40. At practice, we focus on fundamentals like ground balls, passing and catching, and shooting, as well as scrimmages and team-building games. Although lacrosse is a spring sport, we practice year-round, weather permitting, and may have between 3-5 games or play days per semester. We compete against other teams in the Missouri-Illinois area and may travel 2 hours at most for games on the weekends. When we're not able to practice outside in the winter, we love to get together for fun indoor workout classes at Sumers Rec.

Highlights from this past year include beating our rival SLU (twice!), our Halloween stick-switch practice with the men's team, and our spring play day / senior send-off tailgate. WULAX is a great way to stay active while meeting some amazing new teammates and friends. We'd love to have you! Please reach out with any questions to washu.lacrosse@gmail.com.
