NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced those who have qualified for All-Academic honors with six members of the Washington University in St. Louis men's cross country team earning the distinction.
In addition, the men's cross country team also was named an All-Academic Team with a team GPA of 3.72.
Junior Alexander Bullard (Computer Science), graduate Cullen Capuano (Finance), junior Conor Daly (Mathematics & Economics), senior Alexander Gadin (Biomedical Engineering), Will Liu (Applied Mathematics), and graduate Jack Maranz (Global Studies; International Affairs) were all named to the team.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.
The Bears finished the 2024 season at the NCAA Championships where they finished 15th as a team with Capuano earning All-American honors with a 33rd place finish.
