ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The RV Washington University in St. Louis men's cross country team and head coach
Jeff Stiles, now in his 25th season at the helm, will look to improve on its 15th place finish at the NCAA Championships last year as the Bears kick off their 2025 season this weekend.
WashU opens its campaign this weekend when it hosts the Gabby Reuveni Invitational. The meet will take place on Saturday, Sept. 6 at the SIUE Cross Country Course in Edwardsville, Ill. The 5K race starts at 8 a.m.
After a week break from meets, the Bears travel to Terre Haute, Ind. for the Jim McNichols meet on Saturday, Sept. 20. The race gets underway at 9 a.m. ET. Just six days later WashU will take part in the Gans Creek Classic, hosted by Mizzou in Columbia, Mo. on Friday, Sept. 26. The race starts off at 10:30 a.m.
The final regular season meet for the Bears is on Saturday, Oct. 18 when WashU visits Rock Island, Ill. for the Augie Interregional. The 8K race kicks off at 11 a.m.
This season the Bears will host the 2025 UAA Championships at the SIUE course on Saturday, Nov. 1. The men's race starts at 11 a.m.
WashU looks to compete on Saturday, Nov. 15 at the Midwest Regional hosted by Wartburg in Waverly, Iowa. The meet sees the men starting at 11 a.m.
The 2025 NCAA Div. III National Championships take place on Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Roger Milliken Center Course in Spartanburg, S.C. Once again, the men's race starts at 11 a.m. ET.
WashU will look to senior
Conor Daly, who is the top returner from nationals, to replace Capuano. Daly finished the 2024 National Championships with a time of 25:18.5.
