ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The No. 3 Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team will host its third-straight regional this weekend, welcoming Hope, Ohio Northern, Kenyon, Rose-Hulman, Grinnell and Wheaton to Tao Tennis Center.
 
The winner of the St. Louis regional advances to the Championship Site at Champions Tennis Club in Chattanooga, Tenn. beginning May 18.

About the #3 Bears – Schedule | Roster | Stats
WashU enters the postseason ranked No. 3 in the most recent ITA rankings. The Bears have a dual match record of 17-3 and finished second in the UAA.
 
The Bears picked up several All-UAA awards, announced Wednesday. Leading the way were junior Eleanor Archer (No. 2 singles), senior Eliana Hanna (No. 1 singles) and Archer and sophomore Caitlin Bui (No. 1 doubles) on the first team.
 
Senior Amber Edmonds (No. 5 singles) and the duo of sophomore Sam Slowik and first-year Lily Brecknock (No. 3 doubles) all earned a spot on the second team. Senior Nina Moravek (No. 6 singles) earned an honorable mention.
 
Nationally, Hanna is ranked No. 5 for singles while Archer is No. 17 and Bui is No. 21. For doubles, Archer and Bui are the top team checking in at No. 1 while Hanna and sophomore Ally Lin are No. 9.
 
The Bears will take on the winner of Hope and Ohio Northern on Friday at 10 a.m.
 
About #32 Hope – Schedule | Roster | Stats
In the most recent ITA poll, Hope checked in at No. 32 and earned a bid to the NCAA Tournament after winning its 14th-straight MIAA Tournament title with a 4-0 win over Calvin.
 
Three Flying Dutch eared All-MIAA honors, led by Amanda Lopykinski and Hadley Krygier on the first team. Jana Beier was a second-team selection. In the ITA rankings, Lopykinski currently ranks No. 38 in singles.
 
Hope opens the tournament against Ohio Northern on Thursday at 10 a.m. The winner of that match will play WashU on Friday at 10 a.m.
 
About #40 Ohio Northern – Schedule | Roster | Stats
Ohio Northern is currently ranked No. 40 in the latest ITA poll and earned a bid to the tournament after winning its third-straight OAC title with a 4-0 win over Otterbein.
 
The Polar Bears open play against Hope on Thursday at 10 a.m. The winner of that match will play WashU on Friday at 10 a.m.

About #13 Kenyon – Schedule | Roster | Stats
Kenyon checked in at No. 13 in the latest ITA poll and won its fourth-straight NCAC crown with a 5-0 win over Denison in the title match.
 
Eleni Lazaridou ranks No. 30 in the ITA singles poll while Kiara Komlodi is No. 41. Hana Nouaime and Lazaridou rank No. 14 in the doubles poll.
 
Kenyon opens the NCAA Tournament against Rose-Hulman on Thursday at 1 p.m. The winner of that match will move on to play the winner of Grinnell/Wheaton on Friday at 2 p.m.
 
About Rose-Hulman – Schedule | Roster | Stats
Rose-Hulman earned the HCAC automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, defeating Transylvania 4-1 in the title match for the Fightin' Engineers first HCAC title since 2016.
 
Five from Rose-Hulman earned All-HCAC honors, highlighted by Paige Mills being named HCAC Newcomer of the Year.  Emerson Donaldson was a First-Team All-HCAC selection while Camille Clark, Nova Gladden, Autumn Korey and Mills all earned Honorable Mentions.
 
Rose-Hulman will take on Kenyon in the opening round on Thursday at 1 p.m. The winner will move on to play the winner of Grinnell/Wheaton on Friday at 2 p.m.
 
About #27 Grinnell – Schedule | Roster | Stats
Checking in at No. 27 in the latest ITA poll, Grinnell earned the MWC automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament after winning its sixth-straight MWC title with a 4-0 win over Lake Forest.
 
Grinnell opens the NCAA Tournament against Wheaton with a 4 p.m. match on Thursday. The winner will move on to the play the winner of Kenyon and Rose-Hulman on Friday at 2 p.m.
 
About Wheaton – Schedule | Roster | Stats
Wheaton won its first CCIW Tournament crown since 2019 to earn the conference's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament. The Thunder beat North Central 4-1.
 
Wheaton will take on Grinnell on Thursday at 4 p.m. The winner will move on to play the winner of Kenyon and Rose-Hulman on Friday at 2 p.m.

The 2026 Championship
The 2026 Division III women's tennis championship begins with regional rounds this weekend and will conclude at the Champions Tennis Club in Chattanooga, Tenn. from May 18-22. The Championship site will first host the team championships before moving onto the individual championships.
