SCHOLAR-ATHLETES
TEAM ACADEMIC AWARDS
GILBERT, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced its NCAA Division III All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athletes for the 2025-26 academic year. The WashU Bears women's tennis program was honored as a team and 13 members earned individual academic honors.
The Bears finished the 2025-26 academic year with a 3.8 GPA.
The 13 team members who were selected as ITA Scholar-Athletes as part of the organization's announcement include:
Caitlin Bui,
Eleanor Archer,
Chloe Brissett,
Lily Brecknock,
Nina Moravek,
Eliana Hanna,
Sam Slowik,
Hallie Jeffers,
Emily Chiasson,
Amber Edmonds,
Ally Lin,
Katie Finerman and
Maddie Morgan.
The team award is given to programs with at least a combined 3.2 GPA this past year. Individual athletes must have maintained a 3.5 GPA for the academic year to be honored as a scholar-athlete.
In total, 1,309 Division III women's tennis players were named ITA Scholar-Athletes and 177 tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
