Rochester, N.Y. – The Washington University in St. Louis women's soccer team had six players named to the 2023 UAA Women's Soccer All-Association Team, as announced by the conference on Monday morning.
A trio of Bears earned a spot on the first team as junior

Sidney Conner and junior
Emma Riley McGahan were all honored.
Sophomores
Grace Ehlert and
Ella Koleno both earned a spot on the second team and first-year

Clayton has been a staple in the Bears' lineup for three years and leads WashU in goals (seven) and points this season (18) to go with four assists. Three of her goals have been game-winners and she has a shots-on-goal percentage of 52 as she has taken 13 shots on goal and scored seven of them. Additionally, Clayton has started in 17 of 18 games thus far, tallying 931 minutes.
Conner has had a stellar year for WashU in goal, starting 17 of the Bears' 19 games, totaling 1,530 minutes. In that time, she allowed just two goals, recorded 16 shutouts – which leads the NCAA and is first in program history – and set a new program record for career shutouts. The previous record was 31 and Conner now sits at 34 ahead of this weekend's Sweet 16 round. This is Conner's third All-UAA honor, as she earned a first team nod and Sophomore Rookie of the Year in 2021 and was named to the second team in 2022.
McGahan has played in 18 games for the Bears, making 16 starts. She is a core member of the WashU defense that has allowed just two goals all season and did not allow a goal for 15 games. The defense has also recorded 18 shutouts, which leads the NCAA and set a new program record, which was previously 16.
Ehlert has made 10 starts in 18 games and her two goals this weekend in the regional final ties her for a team-leading seven goals this year. Four of Ehlert's goals have been game winners and she has recorded 17 shots on goal in 970 minutes.
Koleno has played and started in 18 games for WashU, totaling 981 minutes. She is second on the team for goals (five) and points (15) and lead the Bears with five assists this year. Koleno has recorded a team-high 21 shots on goal and scored three game-winning goals this season.
Viscovich has made an immediate impact on the Bears in her first year, starting 13 of 17 games for 813 minutes. She has netted two goals and recorded three assists for seven points with one goal being a game-winner.
The Bears are back in action in the Sweet 16 on Friday at 11:30 a.m. against Calvin.
