ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The NCAA has announced the selections for the 2026 NCAA Div. III Indoor Track & Field Championships this weekend in Birmingham, Ala.
The following are the members of the No. 2 Women's Indoor Track & Field team that qualified:
- 60m
- 800m
- First-year Kate Delia (2nd), junior Caroline Echols (4th), and junior Cate Christopher (7th) each qualified with their top times this season.
- Delia finished in 2:09.72, Echols finished in 2:10.28, and Christopher qualified with a 2:10.61.
- Mile
- Senior Jillian Heth qualified with the ninth best time of 4:51.05.
- Sophomore Sofia Sheldon also qualified with a time of 4:53.02
- 3000m
- Sophomore Lucinda Laughlin had the sixth best time this season with a 9:33.84.
- Heth also qualified in this event with a time of 9:38.34
- 4x400m Relay
- WashU had the top time this season with the team of junior Julia Coric, Echols, sophomore Hailey Weir, and senior Kylie Spytek.
- The group finished with a time of 3:44.94.
- Distance Medley Relay
- WashU also had the top time in this event as sophomore Lauren Raley, sophomore Ellie Cain, Delia, and Laughlin finished with a t time of 11:28.79.
- High Jump
- Junior Olivia Theisen qualified in 10th place with a clear of the bar at 1.69m
- Pole Vault
- Shot Put
- Senior Jenae Bothe had the top mark of 15.16m to qualify.
- Her mark is 0.61m further than the current second best.
The 2026 NCAA Div. III Indoor National Championships will take place Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14 at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala. Friday events begin at 10 a.m. while Saturday events also begin at 10 a.m.
