No. 3 WashU Women's Indoor Track & Field Prepares For UAA Championships at Annual IC Hilltop Invite

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – In the final tuneup for the UAA Championships, the No. 3 Washington University in St. Louis women's indoor track and field team competed at the annual IC Hilltop Invite on Friday evening at King Fieldhouse on the campus of Illinois College.

No team scores were kept.

Top Finishes:
  • Pole Vault
    • First-year Campbell Pallera took the event with a clear of 3.81m
    • Right behind her was junior Meredyth Barr with a runner-up finish clear of 3.36m
    • Sophomore Maddie Elhaik also finished in the top five in fourth with a clear of 3.21m
  • Long Jump
  • Triple Jump
  • Weight Throw
    • Senior Kally Mack finished in ninth place with her throw of 13.78m
  • DMR
  • Mile
    • Senior Tatum Goforth claimed the win with her time of 5:14.14 while first-year Megan Raue was runner-up with her time of 5:14.71.
    • Junior Lily Dipple finished third in 5:18.97
    • Junior Kira Larner and senior Kristin Loftus rounded out the top five with their times of 5:20.39 and 5:35.31, respectively
  • 400m
    • Delia claimed the win with the only sub-one minute time of 59.12
    • First-year Ayisat Jimoh claimed third place with her time of 1:03.48
  • 60m
    • Junior Julia Coric was runner-up with her time of 8.00 flat
    • Junior Gayle Henderson also finished in the top five with her fifth place time of 8.17
  • 800m
  • 3000m
    • Junior Avery Nason won with her time of 10:31.55, outpacing two teammates atop the event standings.
    • Classmate Amelie Maltz was runner-up with a time of 10:52.08 with senior Irene Williams in third with a time of 10:57.83
  • 4x400m
    • The team of Coric, Henderson, Echols, and Christopher claimed the win with a time of 3:57.31.
    • WashU also took home second place with the team of Bird, Riemer, Cain, and Raley in a time of 4:04.06
 
WashU will next look to claim the 2026 UAA Indoor Championship on Saturday, Feb. 28 and Sunday, Mar. 1 at the Gosman Center on the campus of Brandeis in Waltham, Mass.
