WAVERLY, Iowa – In the final opportunity to improve their times and marks before the NCAA Championship selections on Sunday, the No. 2 Washington University in St. Louis women's track and field team competed at the Wartburg Qualifier.
No team scores were kept at the meet.
Top finishes:
- Mile
- Sophomore Sofia Sheldon was runner-up with a time of 4:55.92.
- The time moved her into 24th best this season.
- Senior Katie Rector was not far behind in fourth place with her time of 4:57.09.
- Her time marked the 28th best in Div. III.
- 60m
- Junior Maya Davis finished third in a time of 7.75.
- 800m
- First-year Kate Delia and junior Cate Christopher went 1-2 at Warburg
- Delia finished with a time of 2:11.21 to claim the win while Christopher finished in 2:12.11.
- Delia's time is second best in Div. III while Christopher's time of was the seventh best in Div. III
- Pole Vault
- Triple Jump
- Junior Sofia Rosenzweig claimed the win with her jump of 11.61m
- It was the 25th best in Div. III
