Jessica Brooks of the Washington University in St. Louis women's basketball team was named to the All-America honorable mention team. This is the second consecutive season that Brooks has been named a WBCA All-America honorable mention.
Brooks wrapped up one of the best careers in Bears' history, averaging 15.3 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. Like Harris, she finished the season with 10 double-doubles. Her 17 rebounds at Emory on Jan. 26 were a career-high.
For her career, Brooks averaged 14.3 points and 7.0 rebounds over the course of 95 games played.
This season, she was named the 2024 McWilliams Classic Tournament MVP, as well as earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team. She was also twice named the UAA Athlete of the Week, on Jan. 13 and Jan. 27.
Brooks led the UAA in rebounding with 233 total rebounds, while ranking fifth in field goal percentage (.438) and minutes played (32.5). She also ranked sixth in scoring (15.3 ppg).
