Harris Named D3hoops.com All-America Third Team

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- A year after being named D3hoops.com Rookie of the Year, sophomore Lexy Harris of the Washington University in St. Louis women's basketball team has been named to the D3hoops.com All-America Third Team, as announced by the organization this morning. 

Earlier this year, she was named All-UAA First Team and D3hoops.com All-Region 8 First Team. 

Harris picked up where she left off from her first season as a Bear, averaging 16.4 ppg and 9.2 rpg while shooting .594 from the floor. She totaled 10 double-doubles on the season.

During the season, she was named to the 2024 McWilliams Classic All-Tournament Team. She was also named the UAA Player of the Week on Feb. 24. That week, she also earned U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) National Player of the Week honors after averaging 29 points and 10.5 rebounds in the WashU wins over Rochester and Emory.

Harris finished fifth in scoring in the conference while ranking second in rebounding. Her field goal percentage was the best in the UAA this season.
