TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – For the second week in a row, the No. 2 Washington University in St. Louis women's indoor track and field team traveled east to Terre Haute, Ind., this time for the Rose-Hulman Classic at the SRC Complex.
No team scores were kept at the meet.

- It was a one-two finish for WashU as junior Cate Christopher claimed the win with a time of 2:15.20 while sophomore Lauren Raley was runner-up with a time of 2:15.57
- The Bears then took fourth through 11th places with junior Caroline Echols (2:16.45) and first-year Kate Delia (2:16.77) rounding out the top five.

- Junior Avery Nason took home third place with a time of 10:33.27 while first-year Gianna Ezekwe was fifth with a mark of 10:43.46
- First-year Lucy Peterson was just out the top five in sixth with a time of 10:43.56

- Sophomore Grace Todd finished first with a time of 18:56.18
- 4x400m
- The WashU team comprised of Spytek, Coric, Echols, and Christopher finished with the fastest time of 3:51.09

- Three WashU teams were the first to cross the finish line with the team of sophomore Mackenzie Raue, sophomore Sally Carrington, Nason, and Todd finishing first with a time of 12:55.07

A number of Bears also competed in Columbia, Mo. at the Dr. Rick McGuire Invitational hosted by Mizzou. The meet comprised nearly all Div. I programs.

- Competing back-to-back is rough, but not for Laughlin who not only finished fourth overall with a time of 4:51.52, but broke the WashU record by over a second
- Senior Jillian Heth (4:54.93) and Rector (4:55.91) were sixth and seventh respectively

- Senior Jenae Bothe took home the title with a throw of 14.40m
WashU will compete next Saturday, Feb. 7 at the annual Keck Select Invite hosted by Illinois Wesleyan in Bloomington, Ill. at the Shirk Indoor Track
