Men’s Soccer Earns Team Academic Award; Posts Second Highest GPA Among All Collegiate Programs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Washington University in St. Louis men's soccer team earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year, the organization recently announced.
 
The Bears posted the second-highest grade-point average among all collegiate programs including NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA, finishing the year with a 3.78, proving they get it done in the classroom.
 
To receive this award, teams must post a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher for the 2024-25 academic year.
 
In total, 283 men's teams were honored and WashU was one of 151 schools that had both their men's and women's teams recognized.
 
Founded in 1941 and based in Kansas City, Mo., United Soccer Coaches has grown into the world's largest soccer coaches' organization that serves members at every level of the game. United Soccer Coaches works every day to inspire coaches and ignite their passion for the game so they pass it on to players and others in the soccer community.
