NEW ORLEANS, La. – Not only were they dedicated on the track and the field, but members of the Washington University in St. Louis men's track and field team also concentrated on succeeding in the classroom.
The Bears were selected as a 2025 NCAA Division III Track and Field USTFCCCA Men's All-Academic Team with a team cumulative GPA of 3.66 for the 2024-25 academic year. To earn the honor, all athletes on the team must have a combined 3.10 GPA for both the fall and spring semesters.
In addition to the team award, five scholar-champions were named 2025 NCAA Division III Track and Field USTFCCCA Men's All-Academic Athletes. Juniors
George Bourdier and
James Corbett, along with sophomores
William Frohling and
Peter Lichtenberger, and first-year
Zachary Duckworth, were selected. Individuals must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 while being ranked in the top 50 in their event(s).
