Clemons, Ehlert Named College Sports Communicators Academic All-Americans

AUSTIN, Texas – Washington University in St. Louis women's soccer duo of sophomore Olivia Clemons and senior Grace Ehlert earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-America honors, the organization announced on Wednesday.
 
Clemons picked up a spot on the second team while Ehlert was named to the third team. It marks the first honor of its kind for either player. As a team, the Bears won their second-straight national title and third in program history on December 6.
 
Clemons, a mechanical engineering major carrying a 3.87 grade-point average (GPA), is coming off an award-filled year, as she was named the United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Year yesterday afternoon. Additionally, she was named the NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Offensive Player, United Soccer Coaches First Team All-America, United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Region, UAA Offensive Player of the Year for the second-straight year and First Team All-UAA.
 
The Kansas City, Mo. native finished the year with a team best 17 goals and 40 points, including three game winners. She led the Bears with 93 total shots and 53 shots on goal and had six assists.
 
Ehlert, a finance major holding a 3.75 GPA, also racked up a number of awards this season, including United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-America, United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Region and First Team All-UAA.
 
The senior from Wilmette, Ill. scored 14 goals on the year (second among the Bears), recorded three assists and had 31 points. Her four game-winning goals led the team during the 2025 campaign.
 
As a department, the Bears now had 233 Academic All-Americans while the women's soccer program now has 18.
