Viscovich, Ehlert Named United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Two from the Washington University in St. Louis women's soccer team were named United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America, the organization announced Thursday.
 
Junior Sophie Viscovich was named to the second team while senior Grace Ehlert picked up a third team nod.
 
Viscovich is a business administration major carrying a 3.41 grade-point average (GPA) while Ehlert is an economics major with a 3.75 GPA.
 
To earn a spot on the Scholar All-America team, individuals must have a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher on a 4.0 scale and played in a minimum of 75 percent of games during the season. Additionally, they must have received playing honors such as All-America, All-Region, and at-minimum, All-Conference.
 
Viscovich was named United Soccer Coaches Fourth Team All-America and First Team All-Region, in addition to a First Team All-UAA nod. She played and started in all 24 games for the National Champion Bears, scoring four goals with nine assists. Viscovich was also named to the NCAA All-Tournament team.
 
Ehlert, who was also named a College Sports Communicators Academic All-American, was a United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-American and a First Team All-Region selection. Additionally, Ehlert earned First Team All-UAA honors. She played and started in all 24 games as a forward, scoring 14 goals with three assists and a team-high four game-winners.
