ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Washington University in St. Louis men's basketball senior
Yogi Oliff was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week, the organization announced on Monday evening.
Oliff had a huge weekend for the Bears, playing a crucial part in two UAA wins, including a victory over then-No. 1 Emory on Friday evening as well as a gritty Rochester team on Sunday.
The Skokie, Ill. native averaged a triple-double of 13 points, 12 rebounds and 10.5 assists across two games. On Sunday against Rochester, Oliff put up his first-career triple-double with 19 points, 17 rebounds and a career-high 12 assists.
After coming back from an early injury, Oliff has worked his way back into the starting lineup or the Bears, averaging 8.4 points and 5.7 rebounds with a team-high 72 assists.
Oliff, who also picked up UAA Athlete of the Week honors, and the Bears hit the road for a pair of UAA contests this weekend, starting with No. 7 Emory on Friday evening before taking on Rochester on Sunday afternoon.
