KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Washington University in St. Louis men's basketball sophomore
Connor May has been named a National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Third Team All-American, the organization announced on Wednesday afternoon.
He is the 12
th NABC All-American in program history and the 53
rd overall.
This comes on the heels of May earning NABC First Team All-District 8 and D3hoops.com First Team All-Region 8 yesterday. Two weeks ago, May earned his second-straight All-UAA honor, picking up a spot on the First Team.
May was the team leader for points (17.3 ppg), rebounds (7.2 rpg), 37 steals and 27 blocks. As a sophomore, he scored 485 points, putting him at a career points total of 841.
Additionally, May dished out 53 assists and finished with four double-doubles in his second year with the Bears.
May and the Bears reached the Sweet 16 for the third year in a row, finishing at 20-8.
