ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team will have three duos in the ITA Central Regional doubles semifinal tomorrow and saw six singles players advance on the second day of competition.
Due to rain/lightning in the St. Louis area, play moved inside after doubles. Just one of the two planned singles rounds were able to be played and the Round of 16 will now be played on Sunday. The Round of 16 singles will begin at 9 a.m., split between Tao Tennis Center and Dwight Davis Tennis Center. The quarterfinal round of singles will all take place at Tao Tennis Center with the semifinals and final of doubles following singles.

Junior
Eleanor Archer and sophomore
Caitlin Bui beat Adrian's Hye Jim Elliot and Claire Earley 8-0 in the Round of 16 to move on to the quarterfinals. In the quarterfinal match, the duo defeated Case Western Reserve's Katalina Wang and Gabrielle Lee 8-7 (7-3). They will take on teammates first-year
Lily Brecknock and
Sam Slowik in the semifinal tomorrow.
Brecknock and Slowik defeated North Central's Abigail Penados and Kensington Payne 8-3 in the Round of 16 and moved on to beat Chicago's Oliwia Mikos and Charlotte Klein 8-1 in the quarterfinal. The pair moves on to play Archer and Bui in tomorrow's semifinal.
Senior
Eliana Hanna and sophomore
Ally Lin beat Denison's Peyton Oda and Rafaella Ramos 8-3 in the Round of 16 and moved on to defeat Chicago's Anika Paul and Tina Kintiroglou 8-6 in the quarterfinal. They will face Chicago's Lily Zawaneh and Lauren Khou tomorrow in the semifinal.
Seniors
Amber Edmonds and
Teleya Blunt lost in the Round of 16 to Zawaneh and Khou, 7-8 (5-7).
Singles
Brecknock defeated Ohio Northern's Jenna Bell 7-5, 6-1 in the Round of 32, advancing to the Round of 16 tomorrow at 9 a.m. against Chicago's Clara Zou.
Bui defeated CWRU's Katie Wong 6-1, 6-0 in the Round of 32 and will play Chicago's Sarena Biria tomorrow at 9 a.m. in the Round of 16.
Archer beat Adrian's Elliot in a walkover and moves on to face Chicago's Paul in the Round of 16 tomorrow at 9 a.m.
Lin defeated Ohio Northern's Lauren Okrainec 6-3, 6-2 in the Round of the 32, advancing to take on Chicago's Zawaneh in the Round of 16 tomorrow at 9 a.m.
Hanna topped Kenyon's Marguerite Shope 6-0, 6-0 in the Round of 32 and will face Chicago's Isabelle Chong at 9 a.m. in the round of 16.
Edmonds beat CWRU's Tara Markovic 7-5, 7-4 and will take on Kenyon's Eleni Lazaridou in the Round of 16 tomorrow at 9 a.m.
Junior
Emily Chiasson fell to CWRU's Wang 5-7, 6-7 (5-7) in the Round of 32.
