Bear Beats: Episode 1, For Competition Through Aug. 24

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Bear Beats is back! It is a weekly release that will be posted on Mondays to provide a look back at the past week of action and to preview the events for the upcoming week. The first episode for the 2025-26 year will feature men's and women's soccer and volleyball as well as an update on the UAA's partnership with FloSports.

In June, it was announced that the University Athletic Association (UAA) was entering into an exclusive five-year media rights agreement with FloSports. Through the agreement, FloSports will provide a global platform to live stream over 650 regular-season and postseason events annually. FloCollege will deliver live and on-demand coverage for the UAA's full sports calendar (women's soccer, men's soccer, volleyball) across 20 different sports. Beyond live competition, FloSports will also invest in original content and storytelling initiatives online and across social media aimed at elevating the profile of UAA student-athletes and institutions. In 2024, FloSports streamed over 40,000 live events, reaching more than 23 million viewers, averaging 3.9 million unique viewers per month.
