WINTER STANDINGS
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Washington University in St. Louis Athletic Department is third overall in the winter release of the Learfield Directors' Cup standings, as announced by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) on Thursday morning.

The winter was highlighted by the women's indoor track and field team's national championship, the second in program history, which earned the Bears 100 points in the Directors' Cup standings.

Men's indoor track and field finished eighth at the NCAA Championships, earning 70.5 points. Both men's and women's basketball finished ninth overall, picking up 64 points apiece while men's swimming and diving finished 10
th for 67.5 points and women's swimming and diving finished 13
th for 63 points.

Overall, the Bears tallied 429.00 points in the winter for 787.5 total points thus far.

The final standings for the 2025-26 academic year will be released on Tuesday, June 9.

The Directors' Cup is widely considered the ultimate measurement of overall athletic program success in collegiate sports. It was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today.
