Swimming and Diving Teams, 24 Individuals Earn CSCAA Scholar-All America Honors

RICHMOND, Va. - The Washington University in St. Louis swimming and diving programs were selected to the Scholar All-America Team for the spring 2025 semester, the organization recently announced.
 
In total, 763 teams from 432 institutions were selected, representing 18,459 student-athletes. To be recognized, teams must have achieved a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
 
The men's team finished the spring semester with a 3.80 GPA while the women's team had a 3.79. The men's GPA tied for third among Division III teams while th wmen's tied for eighth.
 
Additionally, 11 men and 13 women were named to the 2025 Individual Scholar All-America team. More than 2,700 swimmers and divers earned the distinction.
 
To be named to the First-Team Scholar All-America team, student-athletes must achieve a minimum GPA of 3.50 and participate in their respective national championship. Second-Team selections must also earn a minimum GPA of 3.50 and met the "B" time standard for the national championship or participated in a diving zone qualification meet.
 
On the men's side, all selections were on the first team: Austin Bick, Pace Edwards, Ethan Feng, Jeffrey Forbes, Ryan Hillery, Marco Minai, Justin Rockaway, Ben Scott, Danny Sibley, Matthew Walker and Kyle Wolford.
 
On the women's side, first team selections include: Isabella Barrientos, Rachel Bello, Elizabeth Chen, Izzie Gattone, Rin Iimi, Shanze Karimi, Hannah Lee, Andrea Leng, Kate Li, Iris Qi, Ali Roche and Peyton Watson. Madi Okon was a second team selection.
 
Founded in 1922, the CSCAA is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy and professional development.
