No. 4 Golf in Ninth After Three Days of NCAA Championships

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – After two days where play was impacted due to weather conditions, the No. 4 Washington University in St. Louis golf team wrapped up day three of the NCAA Championships. The Bears finished round two among the Top 15 teams, making the cut for the final two rounds. The championship are being held at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virgina.
 
Day one was delayed several times due to weather and was ultimately halted with an incomplete round due to darkness. Day two began with wrapping up the first round and was halted at 4 p.m. ET due to lightning. Prior to teeing off for round three on Thursday, teams finished round two and cuts were made to just the top 15 teams.
 
Following day three of competition, the Bears sit in ninth place with a three-round score of 906, just one stroke behind eighth. Fourth through 10th place is separated by just seven strokes.
 
Senior Sydney Kuo is tied for ninth with a three-day score of 220 (74, 76, 70) while junior Tiffany Chan is tied for 26th with a 225 (78, 72, 75).
 
Sophomore Amy Beanblossom is tied for 52nd with a 228 (79, 74, 75) and sophomore Reagan Robinson is tied for 85th with a 233 (80, 74, 79).
 
First-year Nicole McGuire is in 140th with a 244 (80, 77, 87).
 
The Bears wrap up the final day of competition tomorrow.
