JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – Changing meets the week of is never easy, but the No. 6 Washington University in St. Louis men's track and field team made the most of it on Friday afternoon at the Illinois College True Blue Invite in Jacksonville, Ill.

- Sophomore Will Elder took the top finish spot with a time of 1:58.63.
- First-year Will Sylvester was fifth with a time of 2:00.39.
- 1500m
- Sophomore Calvin Crossland took first in the event with a time of 4:05.99.
- With a time of 4:17.06, first-year Josh Poeschel finished ninth in the 1500m.
- High Jump
- Junior Eli Goldman won his first high jump of the spring with a height of 1.85m.
- Senior Davin Hickman-Chow also finished in the top 10 with a height of 1.65m to finish eighth.

- Senior Loucas Xenakis won his first event of the spring with a throw of 52.12m, nearly beating out second place by 10m
WashU will travel next Saturday, April 12 to the Greenville Select meet in Greenville, Ill. Only the 5K athletes will travel to a different meet. They will travel to the UW-Platteville Invite on Friday, April 11.
