ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Washington University in St. Louis men's track and field team continue its spring season by host one of two meets on the weekend, beginning with the WashU Distance Carnival. The meet concluded on Friday with the fourth section of the men's 10k as the final race.

- Junior William Frohling finished 10th in a 30-athlete event with a time of 1:51.43
- Steeplechase
- Junior Will Liu and sophomore Ben Lorenz went back-to-back in 23rd and 24th places, respectively with times of 9:30.68 and 9:32.13.
- 5000m
- This event featured 266 athletes that finished the race.
- Senior Conor Daly finished in 26th place as the top WashU runner with a time of 14:30.24
- First-year Charlie Houck was next for the Bears in 36th place with a time of 14:41.94.
- Both senior Oliver Witt (14:59.07) and first-year Gavin O'Connor (15:02.28) finished in the top 100, placing 81st and 87th, respectively
WashU will continue the weekend tomorrow, Saturday, Mar. 28 with Day Two of the WashU Invite. It will feature the remaining field events and all the track events.
