CANTON, Mo. -- The No. 12 Washington University in St. Louis men's outdoor track and field team had to make a quick adjustment this week as their regularly scheduled meet was canceled due to incoming weather. The Bears were able to enter several athletes into the Wildcat Open, hosted by Culver-Stockton College on Friday.

- First-year Maulama Kimata was third in the event with a throw of 48.13, moving up from fifth on the final attempt.

WashU will next look to defend its UAA Outdoor title a the 2025 UAA Outdoor Championships, Saturday, April 26 through Sunday, April 27 in Ichan Stadium. NYU is serving as the host institution.
