JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – It was the final opportunity to secure a spot at the 2025 UAA Indoor Championships for members of the Washington University in St. Louis men's indoor track and field team on Friday evening as they competed at the IC Hilltop Classic hosted by Illinois College.
There were no team scores kept.

- Junior Carson Page finished seventh with a leap of 6.25m.

- Junior Eli Goldman finished fifth with a height of 1.89m

- First-year Liam Elliott finished in the top 10 with a seventh place time of 8.98.

- Senior Elvin Binagi took home a seventh place finish with a time of 7.10

- 1-2-3 were the magic numbers for WashU in the event with Frohling winning his second event of the night with a time of 1:58.66.
- Senior Fernando Ribeiro Duraes was runner-up wit ha time of 1:58.82 and classmate Jesse Sanchez was third with a time of 1:59.172
- 3000m
- Senior Jack Maranz took home top honors in the event with a time of 8:39.79 with first-year Sean Green finishing second in a time of 8:41.16.
- Senior Alexander Bullard also finished in the top five with a time of 8:49.73
- 4x400m Relay
- WashU took first through third in the event with WashU A (3:26.41), WashU B (3:34.57), and WashU C (3:36.20) taking home the top spots.
WashU will attempt to take home the 2025 UAA Indoor title next weekend on Saturday, Mar. 1 and Sunday, Mar. 2 at the Henry Crown Field House at the University of Chicago.
