Softball:Â
- For the first time in program history, the softball team hosted an NCAA Regional, Thursday-Friday, May 16-18Â
- The Bears welcomed No. 10 Belhaven University, Grinnell College, and Greenville University to St. LouisÂ
- After dropping its opening round contest to Greenville, WashU won two elimination games to reach the regional finalÂ
- In a pitcher's duel, Belhaven edged the Bears, 2-1, as the Blazers reached the Super Regional roundÂ
- With a 2-2 regional record, WashU ends its 2024 campaign with an overall record of 28-12Â
- The Bears were clipped by Greenville, 7-5, on ThursdayÂ
- Behind a complete game, six-hitter, from first year Maria Brooks, WashU defeated Grinnell, 4-1, on FridayÂ
- Brooks fanned six in the contest Â
- WashU saw RBIs from first year Kennedy Grippo, junior Natalia Pilpil, and senior Ashley Kennedy Â
- In its second elimination game of the day, WashU's offense exploded for 11 runs in an eventual 11-4 victory over GreenvilleÂ
- WashU rattled off 14 hits in the game and scored 10 runs in the first three inningsÂ
- Junior Taylor Geluck produced a 4-for-5, three RBI game, while sophomore Alexa Hanish welcomed a 3-for-3, three RBI contestÂ
- First year Hattie Bond (6-1) took the win in the circle out of the WashU bullpenÂ

No. 1 Women's Track and Field:Â
- The top-ranked women's track and field team traveled to Rock Island, Ill. to compete in Augustana College's last chance meet, Wednesday-Thursday, May 15-16Â
- Graduate student Danielle Schultz spun a time of 2:08.63 in the 800-meter to claim the event title Â
- Schultz registered a personal-best mark in the processÂ
- Also in the 800, senior Ally Sarussi grabbed a personal-best time of 2:09.19 to take thirdÂ
- Junior Izzy Gorton (2:10.89) and first year Caroline Echols (2:12.07) placed seventh and 10th, respectively Â
- Senior Helena Teixeira-DaSilva (4:33.78) and sophomore Katie Rector (4:34.34) secured fourth and fifth in the 1,500-meterÂ
- Junior Julia Patterson (10:42.97) and sophomore Riley Clark (11:01.95) notched third and sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechaseÂ
- First year Olivia Theisen leaped her way to a ninth-place finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.63mÂ
- Junior Yasmin Ruff finished runner-up in the pole vault invite section with her clearance of the 3.80m barÂ
- In the pole vault open section, junior Makenzie Stock garnered third with her mark of 3.35m

Men's Track and Field:Â
- The men's track and field team made the trip to Rock Island, Ill. to participate in Augustana College's last chance meet, Wednesday-Thursday, May 15-16Â
- In the 800-meter event, senior Will Dehmler turned in a seventh-place finish with his mark of 1:50.33Â
- Also in the 800, first year William Frohling (1:51.00) and graduate student Jackson Cox (1:53.45) manufactured ninth and 20th, respectively Â
- In the 1,500-meter, sophomore James Corbett (3:48.76) and senior Frankie Lynch (3:50.03) secured fourth and 10th Â
- Senior Cullen Capuano, who took part in the 5,000-meter event, manufactured third with his mark of 14:28.01Â
- First year Will Liu posted a 3,000-meter steeplechase time of 9:12.64 to earn an 11th- place finishÂ
- In the pole vault, sophomore Hayden Kunkel (4.90m) and senior Tommaso Maiocco (4.75m) registered first and eighth, respectively Â

- Junior Sydney Kuo was selected to participate, as an individual, in the NCAA Division III Championships Â
