Richmond, Va. – The Washington University in St. Louis swimming and diving programs were selected to the Scholar All-America Team for the spring 2023 semester, the organization recently announced.

In total, 718 teams were selected, representing 17,497 student-athletes. In Division III, 299 teams were represented on the list. To be recognized, teams must have achieved a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.

The men's team finished the spring semester with a 3.75 GPA while the women's team had a 3.73.

Additionally, 16 men and five women were named to the 2023 Individual Scholar All-America team. A total of 2,290 swimmers and divers (1,270 women and 1,020 me) earned the distinction. In Division III 561 student-athletes were recognized (265 women ad 296 men).

To be named to the First-Team Scholar All-America team, student-athletes must achieve a minimum GPA of 3.50 and participate in their respective national championship. Second-Team selections must also earn a minimum GPA of 3.50 and met the "B" time standard for the national championship or participated in a diving zone qualification meet.

For the women
Anna Fonda and
Rin Iimi earned First Team honors while
Rosie Finglass,
Noa Miller and
Riyapreet Sahota earned Second Team honors.
