Indianapolis, Ind. – The Washington University in St. Louis swimmers concluded the Division III NCAA Championships on Saturday evening.
The men's team finished ninth overall with 158 points while the women finished 21st with 33 points.
MEN
Junior Mason Kelber opened the day for the Bears with a sixth-place finish in the 1,650 freestyle with a time of 15:20.39. This marks Kelber's fourth All-America honor of the year and ninth of his career.
Sophomore Alexander McCormick notched his first-career All-America honor with a fifth-place finish in the 200 backstroke, racing to a time of 1:45.50.
In the 200 breaststroke, senior Kevin Hao finished sixth with a time of 1:58.23 for his sixth-career All-American honor and second this year. Senior Nathan Katz finished 15th overall with a time of 2:00.01.
The 400 freestyle relay team of Barclay Dale, Austin Bick, Pace Edwards and Mark Lipkin finished 15th overall with a time of 3:00.21.
In total, eight individual Bears from both the men's and women's teams and one relay took home hardware from the NCAA Championships.
