Indianapolis, Ind. – The Washington University in St. Louis swimmers concluded day two of the NCAA Division III Championships on Thursday evening. The Bears picked up two All-America honors in the process.
The men's team currently sits in 10th with 73 points while the women's team is in 19th with 18 points.
MEN
Senior Nathan Katz finished sixth in the 400 IM with a time of 3:55.05, notching his third All-America honor of his career.
Junior Mason Kelber also took sixth in the 200 freestyle, finishing in 1:37.73 to pick up his seventh career All-America honor.
The 400 medley relay team of Alexander McCormick, Kevin Hao, Barclay Dale and Austin Bick won the consolation final for ninth overall with a time of 3:16.03.
WOMEN
The women's 200 freestyle relay team of Noelle Diclemente, Sandra Meszaros, Lauren Antonowich and Grace Carey finished 10th overall and second in the consolation final with a time of 1:33.94.
The championships resume tomorrow with the 200 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke and the 800 freestyle relay.
