Natalie Stephanus is entering her first season as the student assistant coach for the WashU volleyball program.

Stephanus played for two years in the Bears program from 2015-2016 as a defensive specialist and libero. In her two seasons, she totaled 617 digs, including a career-best 3.12 digs per set in 2016.

The mathematics major also recorded five service aces twice in a single match while concluding the 2016 season with 29 aces that ranked third on the team.

She is a native of Manhattan Beach, Calif. and attended Vistamar high school.
