Theresa Kaiser enters her sixth season as a part-time assistant coach for the Washington University in St. Louis women's soccer program in 2021.

While on the WashU staff, the Bears have compiled a 75-6-7 (.892) overall record, won four University Athletic Association (UAA) championships, made two Final Four apperances and and captured the 2016 NCAA Division III National Championship in Kaiser's first season. 

In 2019, WashU had an 18-1-3 record and advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals for the 11th time in school history. WashU also won its fifth-straight UAA title. Kaiser was part of the 2019 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Central Region Staff of the Year for the second second in her career.

In 2018, the Bears posted a 21-1 overall record and a trip to the NCAA Division III National Semifinals for the third time in the last four years. The Bears also won their fourth-straight UAA title. WashU set single-season school records for fewest goals allowed (6), shutouts (16), wins (21), winning percentage (.955), and consecutive wins (21). Kaiser was also part of the 2018 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III National Coaching Staff of the Year, the 2018 United Soccer Coaches Central Region Staff of the Year and UAA Coaching Staff of the Year.

In addition to her role at WashU, Kaisder has been the head coach at Ursuline Academy for the past six years. In 2021, Ursuline won the MSHSAA Class 2 State Championship for the first time in school history as well as the MSHSAA Class 2 District Championship. Kaiser was then named the MSHSAA Class 2 District 2 Coach of the Year as well as the MSHSAA Class 2 All-State Coach of the Year.

Kaiser started all 83 games in her four-year career at McKendree University, helping lead the Bearcats to a 65-12-8 record. She scored 16 goals and had 19 assists for 51 career points. Kaiser was a three-time all-conference selection honoree, picking up first-team nods in 2009 and 2010, and also earned NAIA Honorable-Mention All-America honors in 2009.

Kaiser played four years of high school soccer at Ursuline Academy in St. Louis, helping lead them to a runner-up finish at the state tournament as a freshman.

She graduated from McKendree in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in education.
