KALAMAZOO, Mich. – For the first time since 2016, the Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team has an ITA Fall Regional Singles and Doubles champion.
After winning the doubles title with partner
Eleanor Archer yesterday, junior
Caitlin Bui claimed the singles title on Monday morning, defeating Kenyon's Lora Szabo 6-0, 6-1.
The Bears last won both singles and doubles in 2016 when Rebecca Ho won singles and Ho and partner Kaylan Griffith won doubles.
Bui is an All-American and will compete at the ITA Cup in Rome, Ga. beginning on Thursday, October 15.
The Bears are back in action beginning on Friday, October 9 at the WTN Open, hosted at Dwight Davis Tennis Center in Forest Park.
