KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The top-seeded doubles duo of senior Eleanor Archer and junior Caitlin Bui highlighted WashU women's tennis' Sunday at the ITA Fall Regional, hosted by Kalamazoo.
 
Doubles
After beating CWRU's Gabrielle Lee and Shayli Dodia 6-2, 7-5 in the semifinal, Archer and Bui secured their second-straight ITA Regional doubles title with a win over Chicago's Rosalyn Chan and Clara Zou in the final 3-6, 6-2, 10-2.
 
Graduate student Leila Epstein and junior Ally Lin fell to Chan and Zou 6-3, 6-3 in the doubles semifinal.
 
Singles
WashU had five Bears in the four quarterfinal matches and saw two reach the semifinal.
 
First-year Cassan Li defeated Archer 6-4, 2-6, 10-8. Bui beat Chicago's Zou 6-4, 6-0 in her match. Li and Bui moved on to face each other in the semifinal. Bui went on to defeat Li 6-0, 5-7, 10-6 in the singles semifinal and will play Szabo in the final.
 
Lin fell to Chicago's Sarena Biria 6-3, 6-4 in the quarterfinal and Epstein lost to Kenyon's Lora Szabo 4-6, 7-6 (7-4), 10-4.
