ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team competed against Division II UMSL on Saturday afternoon.
 
Doubles Round 1:
Senior Eleanor Archer and junior Caitlin Bui beat Morgan Lint and Millie Wileman 6-1.
 
First-years Cassan Li and Emilie Lew beat Aleksandra Lopez and Lauren Sweeney, 6-4.
 
Junior Sam Slowik and sophomore Lily Brecknock fell to Giuliana Cunza and Alexandra Cendeno, 6-4.
 
Sophomore Maddie Morgan beat Isabelle Haggard 6-0.
 
Doubles Round 2:
Junior Ally Lin and graduate student Leila Epstein defeated Lint and Wileman 6-1.
 
First-year Li and Sam Slowik beat Cunza and Cedeno, 6-1.
 
First-year Mia Yin and Morgan topped Lopez and Sweeney, 7-5.
 
Brecknock beat Howard, 6-0.
 
Singles:
Epstein beat Lopez 6-4, 7-6 (5) while Bui defeated Wileman 6-0, 6-1.
 
Li beat Cedeno 6-4, 6-0 and Lin beat Cunza 6-3, 6-4.
 
Lew defeated Sweeney 6-1, 6-2.
 
Archer fell to Lin 7-5, 7-6 (3).
 
The Bears head to ITA Regionals next weekend in Kalamazoo, Mich. Action begins Friday and wraps up Sunday.
