ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced its NCAA Division III All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athletes for the 2025-26 academic year and the Washington University in St. Louis men's tennis team, along with 11 members of the team, have been honored.
The Bears as a team maintained a 3.77 GPA for the entire 2025-26 academic year.
The 11 team members who were selected as ITA Scholar-Athletes as part of the organization's announcement include seniors
Case Fagan,
Colin Fox, and
Colin Scruggs along with juniors
Daniel Radke and
Nathan Tam, sophomores
Drew Koval,
Avi Mahajan, and
Coleman Merce, and first-years
Hans Deng,
Ethan Wu, and
Spencer Yamamoto.
The team award is given to programs with at least a combined 3.2 GPA this past year. Individual athletes must have maintained a 3.5 GPA for the academic year to be honored as a scholar-athlete.
Last season, the Bears advanced to the NCAA Tournament, reaching the Sweet 16, finishing with a 14-10 overall record. Scruggs, Fox, and first-year
Jeremy Sieben were selected to the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships with Scruggs earning a spot in singles and Fox and Sieben were selected for doubles.
