CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. – The Washington University in St. Louis men's tennis team began the ITA Fall Regional on Friday, hosted by Wabash.
Singles
In the A Flight, sophomore
Avi Mahajan opened up with a win in the Round of 64, 6-1, 6-1, over Brady Pettit of Albion. In his round of 32 match, he won the first set 6-3 before retiring.
Classmate
Jeremy Sieben won his round of 64 match 6-3, 7-6 (6) over Tanay Sharma of Illinois Tech before advancing to the round of 16 with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Aiden Yeager of Lake Forest. He faces Chicka Nwaozuzu of Denison in the next round.
First-year
Jerry Han won his round of 64 match 6-4, 6-1 over Aditya Shah of Kenyon and joined Sieben in the round of 16 with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Philipp Wottgen of North Central in his second match. He next faces Nicholas Meyers of Denison in the next round.
B Flight singles begin on Saturday morning. Sophomore

Doubles
Mahajan and Han won their opening round match 8-1 over Caleb Goff and Severin Kretchmar of Baldwin Wallace before falling 8-5 to the duo of Nicolas Siqueira and Colin Klein of Millikin.
Tam teamed up with Koval to win 8-3 over Anthony VanOyen and Bennett Dickerson of Wooster before winning their second match 8-5 over Edvard Veres Bergsten and Sharma of Illinois Tech. They face Tyler wood and Dylan Catanese of Ohio Northern in the round of 16.
Wu and Sieben, seeded No. 2, won their opening match 8-4 over Liam Luedman and Alex Jonas of Alman. They followed that up with an 8-5 win over Chris Lian and Tim Eckermann of Rose-Hulman in the round of 32. They will face Neil Zouaoui and Scott Anderson of DePauw in the round of 16.
