WESTERVILLE, Ohio – While they continue to prepare for the 2026 NCAA Regional this weekend, the No. 13 Washington University in St. Louis men's tennis team is beginning to see awards roll in. The University Athletic Association (UAA) announced its 2026 Men's Tennis All-Association Teams on Wednesday morning, and the Bears had a trio of representatives.
In doubles, the duo of senior
Colin Fox and first-year
Jeremy Sieben earned a spot on the First Team, while sophomore
Avi Mahajan was awarded a spot on the Second Team. These are the first All-Association honors for all three Bears.
Fox and Sieben have teamed up at No. 1 doubles for 20 of WashU's 22 dual matches this spring. The pair is currently ranked No. 10 in the latest ITA poll and has a 14-6 record, including wins over three teams ranked in the poll.
Mahajan earned his spot in singles with a 12-2 record, playing mostly at No. 4 and No. 5 singles. His two losses came against ranked opponents. He was also recently named the winner of the Carl & Alice Briggson Sophomore Award at WashU's 40th Annual Scholar-Champions' Awards Celebration.
WashU travels this weekend to the Denison Regional. After earning a first-round bye, the Bears will take on No. 28 Kalamazoo in the second round on Saturday, May 9, at 1:30 p.m. ET. The team also will be looking out later today when the qualifiers for the NCAA Div. III Singles/Doubles Tournaments are announced.
