No. 13 WashU Men's Track & Field Finishes Third At UAA Championships

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The No. 13 Washington University in St. Louis men's track and field team finished third at the 2026 UAA Outdoor Championships with 148 points. WashU scored in 20 of the 21 events over the two days.

The Bears claimed the individual champion in the 800m on the second day.

Top Finishers

4x100m Relay
- The team of first-year William Kamp, first-year Logan Fairchild, senior Carson Page, and senior George Bourdier finished third in the event with a time of 41.71
1500m
- Senior James Corbett finished third with a time of 3:53.60
110m Hurdles
- Kamp also competed in the hurdles, finishing eighth with a time of 15.16
100m
- Fairchild finished fourth in the event with a time of 10.74
800m
- Junior William Frohling back up his indoor title by claiming the UAA outdoor title with a time of 1:54.54
- First-years Mateo Gros-Slovinsky and Cameron Bettinger went back-to-back in fourth and fifth places.
  - They had times of 1:55.46 and 1:55.53, respectively
400m Hurdles
- Senior Dayton Lasack finished fourth with his time of 55.7
200m
- Fairchild was fourth in the event with a time of 21.77
5000m
- Senior Conor Daly was fourth in the event in a time of 14:45.99
- Junior Will Liu finished in sixth place with a time of 14:51.91
4x400m Relay
- The team of senior Brandon Brazil, Frohling, Lasack, and junior Alek Zavadoski finished third with a time of 3:18.55
Javelin
- Junior Cal Newell finished third with a throw of 53.67m
High Jump
- Senior Eli Goldman was third with his leap of 2.00m
Triple Jump
- First-year Benjamin Long finished eighth with a leap of 13.62m
Discus
- First-year Hunter Rocker was fourth in the event with his throw of 42.52m
