GREENWOOD, Ind. – Washington University in St. Louis women's basketball junior Lexy Harris earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America honors, the organization announced today. She is the first Academic All-American for women's basketball since 2015.
Harris picked up a spot on the third team. This marks her first CSC Academic All-America honors after previously being selected CSC Academic All-District the past two seasons.
Harris, a finance major carrying a 3.94 grade-point average (GPA), is coming off another award-filled year, as she earned All-America honors by both the WBCA and D3hoops.com earlier this spring. She was also a D3hoops.com All-Region selection, First Team All-UAA honoree, and a finalist for the 2026 Jostens Trophy.
The Marietta, Ga. native, a five-time UAA Athlete of the Week winner this season, averaged 18.3 points per game, leading the team and ranking second in the UAA in scoring average. Her 9.1 rebounds per game is the second-best in the conference. She finished the season with 10 double-doubles. Earlier this season, she scored her 1,000th career point in a contest at Carnegie Mellon. Her current tally of 1,324 points ranks ninth all-time in program history.
As a department, the Bears now have 235 Academic All-Americans while the women's basketball program now has 11.
