ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Just because the season is complete, it does not mean that members of the No. 15 Washington University in St. Louis women's basketball team are no longer being honored for their play on the court this season.
As announced today, the D3hoops.com All-Region team has been selected, with junior
Lexy Harris being honored as a First Team selection.
Harris, a five-time UAA Athlete of the Week winner this season, averaged 18.3 points per game, leading the team and ranking second in the UAA in scoring average. Her 9.1 rebounds per game is the second-best in the conference. She finished the season with 10 double-doubles. Earlier this season, she scored her 1,000th career point in a contest at Carnegie Mellon. Her current tally of 1,324 points ranks ninth all-time in program history.
She was named to two All-Tournament teams this season: the 24th Annual McWilliams Classic and the Midwest Challenge. At the McWilliams Classic, she was named Tournament MVP.
