INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The No. 10 Washington University in St. Louis women's swimming and diving team completed day one of the NCAA Championships on Wednesday. The Bears are in 17^th with 10 points.

• 500 Freestyle
  • Senior Ali Roche finished 18^th in the prelims, swimming a time of 4:58.53.
     
• 200 IM
  • Junior Rachel Bello finished 26^th in the prelims with a time of 2:05.55
     
• 50 Freestyle
  • Sophomore Iris Qi tied for 42^nd in the prelims with a time of 23.77
     
• 400 Medley Relay
  • Roche, junior Hannah Lee, junior Peyton Watson and Qi finished 12^th with a time of 3:46.43

 
The Bears continue to competition tomorrow with the 200 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 400 IM, 200 freestyle relay and 1-meter diving.
