No. 11 WashU Men's Indoor Track & Field Took On Tough Competition At Midwest Elite Invite

WHITEWATER, Wis. – As teams begin their final tuneups for conference championships, the No. 2 Washington University in St. Louis women's track and field team competed at the Midwest Elite Invite on Saturday, hosted by Wis.-Whitewater.

  • 5000m
    • In a field of 100 competitors, first-year Charlie Houck finished the event in 13th place with a time of 14:34.92
    • Junior Will Liu (14:52.83) and senior Conor Daly (14:53.54) went back-to-back in 22nd and 23rd places, respectively
  • Weight Throw
    • Sophomore Ian Murphy finished in 17th place with a throw of 13.65m
  • Triple Jump
    • Junior Jared Dawkins finish in ninth place with a leap of 12.84m
  • High Jump
    • Senior Eli Goldman finished in sixth place with a clear of 1.92m
  • Pole Vault
  • Mile
    • First-year Ulysses Klebeck took home fifth place with a time of 4:20.25
    • Sophomores Caleb Brox and Ben Lorenz finished in seventh and eighth place, respectively, with their time of 4:20.87 and 4:22.15

    • Senior Dayton Lasack finished in 10th place with his time of 51.00
  • 60m Hurdles
    • First-year William Kamp finished in fourth place with a time of 8.56m

    • The team of Brazil, senior James Corbett, Fairchild, and Frohling came in second with their time of 3:19.31
WashU will next compete at the IC Hilltop Classic hosted by Illinois College on Friday, Feb. 20 in Jacksonville, Ill. in the final tune-up for the 2026 UAA Indoor Championships.
