No. 10 WashU Women's Swimming and Diving in Fourth After Day 3 of UAA Championships

CHICAGO, Ill. – The No. 10 Washington University in St. Louis women's swimming and diving team remains in fourth place following the third day of the UAA Championships with 714 points. The Bears saw two podium finishes on day three by senior Natalie Klaas in the 400 IM and junior Hannah Lee in the 100 breaststroke, as well as a third-place finish in the 200 medley relay.
 
Top Finishers
  • 100 Butterfly
    • Junior Peyton Watson won the B final and finished ninth overall with a time of 56.29
       
  • 400 IM
    • Klaas reached the podium with an eighth-place finish in 4:32.79
    • Sophomore Lindsay Alisbah finished third in the B final and 11th overall with a time of 4:32.95
    • Senior Nicole Caruso finished 16th overall in 4:44.06
       
  • 200 Freestyle
    • Sophomore Iris Qi finished second in the B final and 10th overall with a time of 1:52.22
    • First-year Sarah Cohen took third in the B final and 11th overall in 1:52.78
    • First-year Abby Wright finished 16th in 1:54.73
       
  • 100 Breaststroke
    • Lee finished third with a time of 1:02.43, hitting an NCAA B cut
    • Senior Avery Dixon took 15th in 1:05.94
       
  • 100 Backstroke
    • Senior Andrea Leng finished 15th with a time of 57.94
       
  • 200 Medley Relay
The Bears wrap up competition tomorrow with the 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, 200 butterfly, 1,650 freestyle, 400 freestyle relay and 3-meter diving.
